2014 Navaratri Yagyas


Springtime Navaratri Yagya Series March 19 thru March 29 $65) Please join us to celebrate the Nine Nights of the Divine Mother; 3 nights for each of Durga, Lakshmi, and Saraswati in order to develop the power of manifestation so that we enjoy greater spiritual and material success and fulfillment in life. In the vedic tradition Shiva is the deep unfathomable silence that is the foundation for the dynamic universe that the goddesses animate. Last month, the Shivaratri yagya series purified our karmas and deepened our peaceful inner silence. On the basis of the potential gained through the Shiva yagyas, this month's program develops our goddess based shakti power so that we are increasingly able to create what we want in life and are able to overcome any potential obstacles in our path. This shakti power is manifest by the goddesses in the form of Durga (power), Saraswati (wisdom), and Lakshmi (abundance). Each day of the 10 day program will focus on all three, with a special emphasis first on Durga, then Saraswati and ending with Lakshmi. We will also have 3 days of yagyas in the ancient and beautiful temples of Kanchipuram to complete the program. The program will also include a 50 priest Lakshmii yagya for prosperity, to be held in Pune on Friday. March 20th.
