Outside the temple there is a yagya hall in which many days of vedic fire ceremonies are performed. In the lower photo, you can see the bronze “utsava” or festival temple deities; Rama on the right and Sita next to him. Multiple fire yagyas are performed at the same time. -

This month, Seetharama Sastry who is the chief priest at our yagya facility in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu travelled to the Kumbakonam region further south in order to participate in the installation of the deities into a temple that had been recently renovated.
