Because our yagya group uses it own priests and pundits, we have the opportunity to offer a unique experience of the vedic tradition. We have planned two trips to India in the coming year; one to the south for the 11 days of Shivaratri, and one to the north for a 7 day Shiva/Parvati yagya on the banks of the Ganges.

During the trip you will experience yagyas on a daily basis supplemented by instruction in performing various pujas, and evening visits to local temples. Every day you will participate in these traditional vedic rituals, not just watch them...you help perform them! This is as close to a taste of vedic ashram life as you can get in our modern age! Our focus is on listening to the Vedas, participating in the yagyas, and visiting temples. The complete program, including meals, hotel, etc. is $85/day.
